Heritage First Bancshares, Inc. Board of Directors
Dr. Davis is a native of Rome where he attended Darlington School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia in Athens and earned his Medical Doctorate from Emory University in Atlanta. His residency training was at Emory University-affiliated hospitals from 1981 through 1986. In 1986 Dr. Davis was Chief Resident at Emory University Hospital. Dr. Davis was in private practice at Harbin Clinic as a General Surgeon from 1986 through 2000.
Dr. Davis retired as President and CEO of the Harbin Clinic, based in Rome. Harbin Clinic is the largest and oldest privately owned multi-specialty group in Georgia. With more than 240 providers practicing in 47 areas of care, Harbin Clinic serves 700,000 patients.
Dr. Davis joined the Heritage First Bancshares, Inc. Board of Directors in November, 2005 and was elected Chairman of the Board in March, 2009.
Mr. Cawthon moved to Rome in 1977 after graduating from Columbus College with an Accounting degree. He owned and operated two Shoney's restaurants in Rome, Georgia and one in Carrollton, Georgia. Mr. Cawthon currently has a real estate license and owns and operates The Country Sportsman in West Rome.
Mr. Cawthon joined the Heritage First Bancshares Board in April, 2010. Mr. Cawthon also serves as Chairman of the Heritage First Bank Board of Directors.
Ryan Earnest's career in banking began in 1995 in Rome, Georgia. He joined the organizing staff of Heritage First Bank in October 2002 as a lender and in 2005 assumed the role of Senior Vice President and Senior Lending Officer until being elected as the bank's President in May of 2008. In December of 2017, Mr. Earnest was named as the Bank's Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Earnest received a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Georgia College in 1990 and completed the requirements of Diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University in 2008.
Mr. Earnest presently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Floyd Healthcare Foundation, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the South Rome Redevelopment Association, the YMCA Board of Trustees, is a member and Treasurer of the Development Authority of Floyd County, is a member of the Board of Directors for the Rome/Floyd Chamber of Commerce, is a member, and former Board of Directors member, of the Seven Hills Rotary Club and was previously Chairman of the Diaconate for the First Presbyterian Church of Rome. Formerly, Mr. Earnest served on the Rome/Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth Board of Directors, having served two separate terms as President during his 20-year membership, the Advisory Board of Directors for Trails for Recreation and Economic Development (TRED), the Harbin Clinic Sports Health Foundation Board of Directors.
Mr. Earnest has been a member of the Board of Directors since May of 2008 and also serves on the Heritage First Bank Board of Directors.
Mr. Heaner is President & CEO of AllStar Financial Group headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Allstar is a diversified insurance and financial services company. He is a 1977 graduate of Darlington School and attended Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina.
Andrew is married to the former Mary Helen Wright of Rome. He is a director of Surgical Development Partners, LLC, Nashville, Tennessee and Johnson & Bryan, Inc., Atlanta. Mr. Heaner has business interests across the Southeast, specifically close to home in Floyd and Polk Counties.
Mr. Heaner has been a member of the Heritage First Bancshares Board since September, 2009.
Mr. Hubbard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Wake Forest University. He worked with Marglen Industries, Inc. in sales, operations and other functional areas, ultimately becoming President in 1995. Mr. Hubbard successfully managed the marketing and sale of the company in 1998 and remained in management positions until 2008 when he joined Home Legend, LLC in Adairsville, Georgia where he served as Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Hubbard currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at IOMAX USA, Inc. based in Mooresville, North Carolina. IOMAX is a full spectrum provider for signals intelligence and airborne systems solutions. The company supports the U. S. and allied governments worldwide in their effort to stay abreast of and effectively address the criminal use of state-of-the-art wireless communications technologies.
Mr. Hubbard has served on the Heritage First Bancshares Board of Directors since September, 2009.
Mr. Land is Chief Executive Officer of J. L. Todd Auction Company and RAL Properties. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Coosa Valley Technical School and graduated from the Georgia School of Real Estate. Mr. Land also attended the Mendenhall Auctioneering School and the Certified Auctioneers Institute, University of Indiana. Mr. Land has been in the auction business for 30 years. He is a past President of the Georgia Auctioneers Association and a lifetime member of the National Auctioneers Association.
Mr. Land was appointed to the Heritage First Bancshares Board of Directors in July, 2018. Mr. Land is also a member of the Heritage First Bank Board of Directors
Mrs. Mauer is a Registered Nurse and works in the Radiology Department of Redmond Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Mauer received her Nursing Degree from Floyd College.
Mrs. Mauer serves on the Board of Directors for Cancer Navigators, is a sustaining member of the Junior Service League of Rome formerly chairing the group's Nominations Committee. Mrs. Mauer also serves with Good Neighbor Ministries.
Mrs. Mauer was appointed to the Heritage First Bancshares Board of Directors in September, 2009. Mrs. Mauer is also a member of the Heritage First Bank Board of Directors.
Mrs. Mumber is the Owner and Business Manager of Many Streams Ranch, LLC and Secretary of Real Estate of Rome, LLC. Mrs. Mumber earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Masters degree in Teaching from the University of Virginia.
Mrs. Mumber is a former head coach of Three Rivers Swim Team of Rome and currently volunteers as Community Coach at Darlington Middle School. Mrs. Mumber is a past president of the Floyd/Polk/Chattooga Medical Alliance and the Garden Study Club.
Mrs. Mumber has been a member of the Heritage First Bancshares Board since September, 2009. She is also a member of the Heritage First Bank Board of Directors.
Mr. Parker founded Parker Systems, LLC in 1985 to fund his college years at Georgia Tech while pursuing his degree in Electrical Engineering. Today, Parker Systems works with specialized customers such as Motorola, The Department of Defense, State Olympic Law Enforcement Command and a number of 911 Centers in the Atlanta area. Parker Systems operates internationally with mission critical fiber deployments for military bases.
Parker FiberNet, LLC is an outgrowth of Parker Systems and is based in Summerville, Georgia. Parker FiberNet offers local and out of area critically necessary disaster recovery and co-location services for government, healthcare providers and businesses. Other Parker Companies include Parker Response and Parker Logistics which supply public safety communication restoration and support in the event of a natural or manmade disaster.
Mr. Parker is a founding member of the Heritage First Bancshares Board of Directors since its inception in July, 2001.
Mr. Vick is the majority owner and President of Southern Bracing Systems, a cargo securement company; Honeycomb Products, a packaging materials manufacturer; and Southern Strapping Systems, a manufacturer of high strength approved straps, all based in Rome, Georgia. Mr. Vick's businesses serve customers in the United States and abroad. He currently holds several patents used in the transportation industry.
Mr. Vick served on the Floyd County Airport Commission for eight years, one year as Airport Chairman. Mr. Vick served on the Hazardous Materials Advisory Council in Washington, DC for ten years. A current pilot, Mr. Vick is a long time member of the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association and the Experimental Aircraft Association. He is also a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Mr. Vick joined the Heritage First Bancshares Board of Directors in September, 2009. He also serves on the Heritage First Bank Board of Directors.
Mr. Watters has been self employed since 2001. Prior to that, he was part owner and Vice President of Sales for Syntec Industries, Inc. Mr. Watters is a graduate of Darlington School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Textile Management from Georgia Tech.
Mr. Watters is a past President of the Northwest Georgia Council of Boy Scouts of America, is Chairman of the Georgia Alliance of the Boys & Girls Club for the State of Georgia, serves on the Executive Committee and is a past President of the Boys & Girls Club of Northwest Georgia and serves on the Board of Directors of Cancer Navigators.
Mr. Watters joined the Heritage First Bancshares Board of Directors in March, 2009. Mr. Watters is also a member of the Heritage First Bank Board of Directors.
In Mr. Wilkes' 40 plus year stellar banking career, he has served as CEO of several community banks as well as Regional Executive/City President of several regional banks. Mr. Wilkes holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Georgia Tech. He is a graduate of First Union Executive Leadership Academy, Northwestern University National Graduate Trust School and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
Mr. Wilkes joined Heritage First Bank in April, 2009 as Chief Executive Officer of Heritage First Bank and Heritage First Bancshares, Inc., the bank holding company. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Heritage First Bancshares, Inc., is a member of the Board of Directors of Heritage First Bank and Heritage First Bancshares, Inc.
